Duration: 1.5 hours
As educators, we have a responsibility to support children in developing a deep love for nature. There is a collective benefit to children, educators and the community when children are engaged and take ownership of outdoor environments. Children are the stewards of the future.
This workshop will provide tips, tools and strategies on how to engage children in learning the fundamentals of environmental citizenship in the 21st century. We will look at strategies that create opportunities for children to become involved and socially responsible for the environment around them.
